Abstract
The book is the first of two volumes of the historical monograph of the city of Kęty, which was created thanks to the cooperation of the Institute of History and Archival Studies of the Pedagogical University of Krakow (Konrad Meus, Dorota Żurek) with the Museum of Aleksander Kłosinski in Kęty (Maria Tylza-Janosz). The publication deals with the past of Kęty and the surrounding villages (Bielany, Bulowice, Łęki, Nowa Wieś, Malec, Witkowice).
