Stanisław Kilian (1935–2025) – A Teacher Who Taught Through the Mountains
 

Stanisław Kilian (1935–2025) was a mathematics teacher and mentor who dedicated his life to combining education with a passion for tourism and sightseeing. He taught in Wadowice, organizing numerous trips, hikes, and camps both in Poland and abroad, teaching young people independence, teamwork, and a connection with nature. He was an active member of Polish Youth Hostel Association and Polish Tourist and Sightseeing Society, conducting training for educators and coordinating school tourism, rallies, and sightseeing events. For his contributions, he received numerous awards, including the Gold Cross of Merit, the Medal of the National Education Commission, and the title of Honorary Member of Polish Youth Hostel Association. He left a lasting legacy in education and tourism, remembered as a person full of passion, precision, and understanding for others.
