The article discusses two intriguing artifacts from the collection of the Town Museum in Wadowice: archival invitations addressed to the poet and writer Emil Zegadłowicz. These invitations, carefully preserved for years in the Gajczak family’s collection, date back to the poet’s time in Poznań. This period was particularly significant in Zegadłowicz’s life, as he became involved in the cultural and media life of the city while earning a reputation as a controversial critic of local circles. Both memorabilia shed new light on official ceremonies and the cultural environment of Poznań at the time, as well as on the poet’s life in Wielkopolska.
