An Outline of the History of the Guild of Crafts and the Multi-Industry Crafts Cooperative in Wadowice. Part Two – The History of the Cooperative
The article presents the history of the Multi-Trade Crafts Cooperative in Wadowice, which was founded in 1952 on the initiative of local craftsmen. It describes its organizational development, changes of name and headquarters, as well as the composition of its management board and council over the years. Despite the difficult political and economic transformations after 1989, which led to the collapse of many cooperatives, the Wadowice cooperative survived by changing its business profile. Today it no longer conducts commercial activity but provides legal, accounting, and tax advisory services for craftsmen, although its liquidation is being considered.
